I have been in practice for 14 years and discovered that a sense of belonging, security, and
peace are found within our own Being. I am a certified Focusing-Oriented psychotherapist
with a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy and a specialization in Medical Family
Therapy. I work with an integrative psycho-spiritual approach that incorporates Internal Family Systems Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Contemplative Spirituality, and Mindfulness to access the innate wisdom of the body-mind-spirit to heal. If you are suffering from family of origin issues, trauma, betrayal, self-criticism, depression, anxiety, physical pain, or an inability to feel connected to yourself or others, I can help. I offer individual, couple, and family therapy.
When we listen empathically and attend to our needs, connect with our body, mind, and spirit, we access a greater awareness that goes beyond our own egoic sense of control to a loving source that holds creation, life. My intention is to provide a safe environment that enables clients to create a better relationship with themselves and others as they expand the ways they feel limited in the world. It is a profound honor to guide and partake in this sacred healing as clients uncover their authentic Self and self-leadership. I find this psychospiritual approach life affirming as I continue to learn and evolve.
As clients dare to turn inwardly to what is hurting, I help them facilitate an empathetic and compassionate Self-in-presence relationship with their humanity for internal transformation, acceptance of life, and improved well-being.
On a personal note, I am married; my husband and I raised three sons and now have four grandchildren. In addition, I enjoy outdoor recreation: hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing, bicycling, and downhill skiing. I love to travel, enjoy yoga, and find joy and unity in Focusing.
