This seminar is for professionals both new to the field of sexual health and already working in it. It addresses various labels for problematic sexual behavior (PSB) as well as categorizing the types of behaviors for which people seek treatment. Participants will be able to (1) describe a framework for identifying problematic sexual behaviors; (2) discuss potential risk factors for PSB; and (3) list various treatment options for PSB and support options for partners. The risk factors that appear to contribute to the development of problems will also be addressed. Finally, attendees will review the new "Compulsive Sexual Behavior Disorder" diagnosis to be implemented via the World Health Organization's diagnostic manual The International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11).
