What Makes the SASH Annual Conference Different?

As a specialty conference focused on sexual health and problematic sexual behavior, the SASH annual conference offers sessions in a wide range of topics to meet the needs of attending professionals with diverse experience and knowledge. Professionals from a multitude of disciplines find value in the depth of learning that is offered at SASH conferences. Our attendees include therapists, social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses, physicians, recovery and life coaches, interventionists, attorneys, researchers and educators and pastors.

And SASH remains true to its mission, by opening it doors to the general public on the last day of the conference. This Sexual Wellness Event provides free sessions focused on sexual healing and problematic sexual behavior to those in recovery as well as those seeking knowledge. No other conference offers this level of commitment to individuals looking for answers.

SASH Conference Faculty

Every year SASH seeks to find cutting edge presentations for inclusion in the annual conference line-up. Professionals representing current research, therapeutic methods, and clinical skills are chosen because they offer attendees an experience like no other in a learning environment. Come and hear from professionals in the field about the latest advances. Our faculty are chosen because of their knowledge and experience and include licensed psychologists, social workers, sex therapists, partner specialists, sex educators and certified coaches. Are you new to the field? Choose from a session that fits your needs and advance your expertise. Experienced professionals can choose from the advanced sessions.

SASH believes each content area important to allow for divergent views and broad encompassing training, however, the views expressed by the individual trainers/presenters are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of SASH, its Board or its members.

COVID 19 Planning

The SASH Board and Conference Committee want you to know we are continuing to monitor precautions for COVID-19 and the outbreak of new variants.  We will continue to assess the situation and follow the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Controltravel precautions, and the Seattle Department of Health. The health and safety of our attendees is our top priority.

Our goal is to have an in-person conference, but we are also working on a contingency to provide a virtual event if an in-person conference is not possible.  SASH is actively soliciting speakers and determining the upcoming schedule. If all goes as planned, it will be a wonderful event. Our hope is that by October 14th, we are able to hold the SASH Annual Conference as planned and enjoy the camaraderie and networking of our colleagues and friends.

We will continue to monitor the suggested guidelines and update you of any changes via email and on our website.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to the conference committee at [email protected]. We wish you well and hope to see you in the months to come.

Sincerely,

The SASH Board and Conference Committee
