SASH Conference Update 5.29.2020After long and deliberate discussions, the SASH Board has decided to move our 2020 Annual Conference planned for Seattle Washington, to a virtual event. As you can imagine this was not an easy decision. With the uncertainty of the fall and the potential for a new peak during that time we felt it prudent to protect our community. Thank you to all of our members that participated in our survey and provided us with feedback. SASH is planning for a reunion of our friends and colleagues in 2021 at the beautiful Hyatt Lake Washington. We are fortunate that the hotel was willing and able transition us to next year and kept the terms of our contract the same. The SASH conference committee has been actively working and planning despite the sheltering in place. And we are proud to announce that most of our speakers have agreed to participate in a virtual setting. A speaker announcement is forthcoming and what a line up! The dates for our virtual event remain Oct 15-18, 2020 with perhaps a slight variation. We will have a schedule soon, as we work to determine times, sessions and time zones. Please be patient as we create for you the best possible experience to meet your needs while maximizing continuing education and much needed fellowship opportunities. Stay tuned to our website and social media for ongoing announcements and updates. Sincerely, The SASH Board If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to the conference committee at [email protected] We wish you well and hope to see you in the months to come.
