ACT Course

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy As a Treatment for Problematic Pornography Viewing

This four-session 90-minute webinar series (6 hours total) will demonstrate how ACT principles effectively reduce unwanted pornography viewing by cultivating openness to experiencing urges to view pornography and by promoting value-directed behaviors instead of ineffective efforts to control inner experiences and perceived addiction.

Additional Informatoin

All registrants must be able to connect individually using an electronic device with audio and video capabilities such as a laptop computer, desktop computer, tablet or smartphone with an up to date Zoom integration. All courses are taught on the Zoom webinar/meeting provider platform. A unique login id is provided to individual email addresses for login. Email addresses for registrants may not be shared.
In order to earn CE credit, attendees must fully attend each registered session for which they are registered and complete a session evaluation. Certificates of completion will be accessible to attendees who meet these requirements upon completion of the session evaluation. A link will be sent via email to participants meeting course completion requirements. Upon completion of the evaluation participants can download and print their certificate. Partial credit will not be granted for partial attendance in a session.

A full cash refund or account credit will be offered to registrants of live events/continuing education activities who have paid up to 30 days before the relevant live event/continuing education activity, less a $25 service fee.
VOD is not eligible for a refund but a credit may be applied to another VOD or left on account for a future product. Once a VOD has been viewed requests for credit will not be honored.

Registrants who wish to withdraw less than 30 days before the relevant live event continuing education activity will not receive a refund. They may request credit, less a $25 service fee, against a future event or available Video on Demand, which may be granted at the discretion of the SASH Treasurer depending upon the individual’s circumstances.

Webinar Presenter

Would you like to be a Webinar Presenter?

SASH is planning the upcoming webinar schedule for professional and public audiences. Use your knowledge and experience to teach others by presenting in a SASH Webinar. SASH welcomes diverse presentations to help educate professionals or inform the public of problematic sexual behaviors and sexual health topics.

Presenters will receive a 40% revenue share for webinars directed to a professional audience. Webinars geared toward a public audience will not include remuneration. In keeping with SASH’s mission, we are creating a library of free webinars for the public addressing a variety of topics on sexual health. In exchange for your generous donation of time and service to SASH, we will include advertising and publicity for you and your organization. If you are interested in presenting a SASH webinar, please let us know your availability to present, including what month (starting in August), what day of the week and what time of day (please include your time zone). Also indicate if you intend to present for a professional or public audience and the suggested length of time.
